Poor bastard. Makes the decision to throw him straight into the team even more difficult to understand.

1:0 for Blackpool.
We deserved it, after we decided to starting the game sitting back

Kids are playing alright for Villa, but Young, Downing and the defence have all been pretty shite. Esp the defence which keeps leaving big holes and failing to clear the ball. Dembele is v.good, but they not handling him well at all.
Fulham had v.good chance with Dempsey, Fonz came close with a header for us. It's unsurprisingly quite open. We may even get our first league goal since about February. Well, I can dream.

If so, it's easy to see why he doesn't like Pav but then again I don't ever really remember Crouch hassling the backline.
After goal like today it's awkward to say it, but I consider Pavlyuchenko to be quite overrated here. Still, it's not difficult to see he's having a better form than Crouch for last couple of weeks.
All season you mean.
I've said it before but how the fuck can he come away from games like today satisfied with his own effort? He literally doesn't fucking move. He may have scored a very important goal for us but I've always been very against him signing because when he plays it dictates the way we play and it's not healthy.
Has Crouch had a good game for us this season, not including Europe when they dont know how to mark him? 2-1 win's vs. Chelsea and Arsenal in the same week, Pav played a major part in both and we played efficient football ALONG THE GROUND in them.
Even in that 10 minute spell when we were flying forward and scored the two goals, Crouch still did fuck all.
