Good to see some old good teams be back on the top fight. Can they create the surprise this year in their leagues?

    Serie A:

    1. Milan...............29 points
    2. Lazio.........25 (1 game in hand)
    3. Roma..............22
    4. Napoli.............21 (1 game in hand)
    5. Juventus..........20 (1 game in hand)
    6. Inter................20 (1 game in hand)

    Bundesliga:

    1. Dortmund.........34 points
    2. Mayence...........27
    3. Leverkusen.......25
    .....
    8. Bayern.............20
    9. Hamburg..........18
    11. Werder...........14

    Ligue 1:

    1. Montpellier........24 points
    2. P.S.G...............23
    3. Rennes............23 (one game in hand)
    4. Marseille..........22 (one game in hand)
    6. Lille.................21 (one game in hand)
    9. Bordeaux.........19 (one game in hand)
    10. Lyon..............19 (one game in hand)

You never know what will happen, will Munich, Inter, Juventus, Lyon, Marseille wake up one day?

Two other questions. What are their best XI ever and their actual key players?

i think dortmund has a very good chance, especially because they only have a small chance to play euro league next year

well of course most from the CL winning team

    -----------lehmann
    cesar--sammer----kohler

    reuter---sousa-------dede

    -----möller----rosicky

    chapusiat------riedle

something like that, have no clue about there early history

i would say there keyplayers are

    --weidenfeller---hummels---sahin-----kagawa/götze-----barrios

well PSG is really a good side, no surprise they are close to the top table, dortmund had hard games against them

    Dortmund Ale

Agree with Kroos too Shocked re: key players. Though I'd add Subotic as well, himself and Hummels have really been impressive when I've watched them.

Dortmund have been very impressive. They have the best attacking and defensive records thus far, and from what I read last week, at this point in the season, they have earned more points than any team in Bundesliga history. They also had three players playing against Sweden last week for the national team, all of whom are young players which can provide the backbone of the team for years to come.

I like the team Kroos made, although I might find a place for Christian Worns.

PSG have a good first choice XI, but I'm not convinced with them beyond that. Maybe they need to exit Europa League for a better chance to win the Lique 1 title.

I like what I have been seeing from Dortmund, their key players for me have been Subotic in defence, shahin pulling the strings in midfield while kuba is the engine of the team, and barrios is the go to guy although lewandowski is showing to be a very good player and kagawa is a menace behind the main man.

Does anybody know when Zidan is due back? a player like him can be very important, he showed that he has a good understanding with Lucas last season.

    For Lazio:

    Muslera
    Lichtsteiner - Dias - Biava - Radu
    Brocchi - Ledesma
    Mauri - Hernanes - Zarate
    Floccari

    Bizzari
    Scaloni - Stendardo - Diakite - Garrido
    Bresciano - Matuzalem
    Foggia - Meghni - Manfredini
    Rocchi

They have managed to build a pretty decent team, and with the re-induction of Ledesma and the acquisitions of Hernanes, Matuzalem, Bresciano, etc Lazio now look like a complete team & squad.... they are perhaps a couple of defenders away from challenging for the title.

Lyon were after Hermanes all summer but i think we didn't offer enough. It's a shame because he seems like a great player. Does Meghni play? I remember he was supposed to be the next big thing and I am sure he will end up like Dalmat, Le Tallex and Pongolle, which is playing for a shitty team.

What is the best XI ever for Lazio? Surely there should be Peruzzi, Nedvev, Pandev, Poborski, Salas, Sensini, conceicao, Diego Simone, Veron, Mihajlović, Stanković

    Saw that on Wilki:

Brazil Juan Fantoni (I) Belo Horizonte (Brazil) 24 July 1905 Midfielder/Forward
Brazil Octavio Fantoni (II) Belo Horizonte (Brazil) 4 April 1907 Midfielder
Brazil Leonisio Fantoni (III) Belo Horizonte (Brazil) 18 February 1912 Forward
Brazil Orlando Fantoni (IV) Belo Horizonte (Brazil) 4 May 1917 Forward

Wtf is that 4 players with the same name.

It was a great team at that time. I like Chapuisat a lot. With their massive stadium I am sure they are able to attract good players.

They are the scum of Italian football, their fans supported Inter when they welcomed them in the olimpico so as to prevent Roma from winning the title... scum!

I remember a photo from a magazine I bought when I was a kid, Lampert was weeping and he held a sign that said how much he loves the Dortmund fans, this was when he decided to leave them, it was touching, its the kind of relationship I would like to have with my fans if I had ever been a pro.
