Nearly isn't good enough, is it?
Spain have conceded 1 goal because not many teams have the opportunity to even test their keeper from open play. They just press you so much when they don't have it and keep the ball away from you to perfection.
Sure, Spain can be beaten, so can every other team but from the teams left I can only see Germany having both the ability and the mental strength to do that. England and France can maybe give them a tough time but in the end both teams would just lack that little bit of belief and class.

The point is that there are teams better than Croatia.
Both Rakitic and Motta forced some excellent saves from Casillas - he was definitely tested.
Italy drew with them in the group stages so don't forget them. Don't think France lack the class to beat them.

Not saying Spain are invincible but they're my pick for the winners and they are the best team/squad at the Euros whatever happens.

Until France decided to take a shot at them by intentionally losing to Sweden. France obviously avoided facing Italia because they can not match Italia as well as they can against España.

England will win - it is written in the stars!
Extra time winner vs Italy from captain Stevie G.
Penalty win vs Germany (with Schweinsteiger missing the decisive pen)
Andy Carroll to come on as a sub and rape all over Pique and Ramos and score a last minute header.
Worms will probably hang himself.

Whilst that would be brilliant if it did happen, England's luck will eventually run out. I can't see Rooney having the same impact Drogba did in the CL and our defence is nowhere as good as the Chelsea one.
England are receiving a bit too much hype to win the competition. By everyone saying it, we've probably jinxed it

Re: who will win the euro 2012
England have got tactics about right & ground out 2 wins and a draw, where is all this luck?
There's the phantom goal, which should've been called offside earlier in the move. And what else? Walcott's goal getting slight deflection/swerving a bit in the air?

I agree with Debaser, england habn't been lucky but they have been ruthlessly efficient in front of goal and generally quite purposeful in attack.

Sorry, that wasn't phrased correctly. The way we've approached games have been fantastic - I just don't like the way a lot of people are getting above their stations. Chelsea and England winning the two most coveted European prizes is absurd, we're England FFS!

Chelsea won the CL, but the entire world were talking about Barcelona still being the best team on the planet and how Chelsea were unbelievably fortunate.
Can England do a Chelsea? Possibly, it's another cup competition, one lucky bounce and you advance to next round. Can Greece repeat? That's possible too, been there done that.

Hey Puro, France were taking an almighty risk by 'choosing' to lose. If Ukraine had scored a couple of goals and won 2-1, France would've gone out (behind England on goals scored)

I'm almost convinced that Blanc knew Ukraine were not gonna scored on England even if they kept playing until now after seeing them in person last time out. It was a huge risk (fair enough) but a well taken one. It worked out fine for Blanc. I don't see him sweating at all about facing España whom he always wanted. Italia give France too much pain.

England obviously!
Thanks to Chelsea and England we have seen the birth of a new playstyle! Which is freckin effective. More lethal then a black mamba! Total Efficiency, Total victory, Total progress, Total tiki taki! Give it a name. But it fuckin works!
Im fairly sure that if the Falklands were allowed in the Copa America, and used this tactic, they would win it.

Well, i'm pleasantly surprised by how well we've done, still think there's a lot of issues around Prandelli's substitutions and his constant changes, but there is pride back and to be in the final4 after the last two tournaments especially 2010 feels great,
Think we've reached our limit now though, G.Rossi is a massive loss given the striker situations, and there are virtually no goals in open play from this team, i think they're physically spent now but it's been a great tournament to get the enthusiasm back.
If Rossi and a fully fit, in-form Cassano go to the tournament we could have really pushed it, but still, this is basically a Pirlo team, just like previous tournaments, only the midfield as a zone functions much much better, and Germany will be a massive step up from England's level.
We have Germany's number in tournaments, but these things only go so far, and i'm pretty sure they won't be thinking about that, they look much fitter and fresher than we are, i just can't see where our goals will come from, although it's maybe made for Marchisio to pull a rocket out in Tardelli style!

So far in this Euro '12 Germany haven't played one team that looked them in the eye and told them "We're gonna whoop your ass!", and that includes Portugal who gave them way too much respect. Portugal now knows they can beat Germany, but they have their work cut out against España.
You Pirlo, your Italia will be the 'first' team who will go up against Germany with no fear. And, what happens when Germany sees that the opponent has no fear? The Germans shit their pants! TFS!
