Thank you for trying to ruin what so far has been an entertaining tournament with your shit cowardly joyless "football".

You are a cancer to football at both international and club level(financial doping, shit football)and desperately need to be put down like a diseased dog is put down.

It was funny how there were nearly 6 to 8 English players in their box when we attacked them. But it was more of our MF being shit with Diarra, Malouda. Should M'Vila and HBA be in XI in stead of them, we would have done better. But England too missed lot of players. Can't complain.

Since 1990 WC (SHITTY ASS WC BY THE WAY!), every international competition is a lot more exciting without parasitic/park-the-bus/pussy football/team of the Khazars England. TFS!

Personally, I find Spain's approach of making 74 three yard passes before attempting to shoot create equally dull matches.

Maybe all football is dull and we're just wasting our time?

    You don't understand football.

You really enjoy watching 6 midfielders play keep ball as if it were a training exercise, without really threatening the opposition?

If Spain produced more through balls like Silva's to Fabregas (or Ashley Young to Milner today) they would be sensational to watch. As it is, watching them play keep ball in the middle of the pitch for 90 seconds before conceding possession/hitting a tame shot becomes quite boring after a while.

At least with Barcelona there is often an end product with a cross/cut back from Alves, a Messi run, or a through ball to Messi.

Spain play defensive tiki taka, Barca play offensive tiki taka.

Spain use it primarily as a defensive tactic to tire the opposition, if VdB dropped Alonso and played Santi or striker it would instantly make spain more attacking. Since the double pivot would be dropped.

It was a boring game, but what did you expect? Nobody really expected us to get anything out of the first game and when it became clear that the French were not willing to commit too many men forward and resort to potshots from outside the area, then we were happy to sit back and take the draw.
Personally I would have liked to have seen us take a gamble and go for a winner. Their defence looked very shaky and I think we should have tested it more. Our passing was pretty atrocious on the whole though and we really need to improve it.
Funnily enough, most England fans are actually feeling more confident and proud in the team following the opening match, despite mixed opinions in the media.
I'm happy enough with the result though. Sweden and Ukraine are very different teams though and we need to approach those games more pro-actively
