Then Gladbach! Would be great to meet them again, sadly they no longer play on the Bokelberg anymore.

Then a group of: Arsenal, Dortmund and PSG (all doable trips)

2nd round I would love to get Juventus

Quarter final will be against either United or City!

Semi's against Barca and to top it of, a final against Madrid!

Having said that I wouldnt mind a full english meal either ( Arsenal starter, Utd as soup, City as main course and Chelsea as dessert)

But...that's all personaly!

Unnecessary 2-1 defeat from us last night in Kiev. Played really well till that howler from Mulder. Thought the defense did rather well with de Vrij and BMI as central defenders considering our captain Vlaar left only a few days ago.

The negatives from the game. With the bit of money we had we have bought some absolute shite. Now I never thought Immers was any good for the pikeys, and he didnt convince me against Mallorca and Kiev either. He is so poor. And that coolie Singh is also a shit signing. What a rubbish player. Norwegian Iniesta my ass. Also, we clearly lack a striker.

Now for the positives. Clasie. Jordy motherfucking Clasie. Honestly, I wouldnt mind to suck his cock if it will keep him here for a few more years. What a player. No European experience whatsoever, yet utterly destroyed Veloso and Krancjar. I fear this is his last year for us Also, our bosmans Vormer and Janmaat look quite good.

Still, had a great evening. 0-0 for 96 minutes but we needed to score a goal then got hit on the counter( great movement from Yarmolenko) We were the way better side, and that's a positive that a homegrown team can outplay a CL that invested over 40 million this summer. Still our glass is half full/empty. One half of team is really good. The other half really bad.

As expected Clasie is already European class. Our most talented player since RVP. Pirlo watched him, and saw his replacement is there. Wish Koeman would play him more upfront to make him more decisive. Need to improve his corners though. Same goes for de Vrij, I always knew he could become really good, if he got more consistant. And it seems he is there already. Best Dutch defender out there. Im fairly sure van Gaal will include both of them, he has too.

Now for the bad. The attack part of the team. It lacks quality. Big time. I never understood why we signed Immers. He is just awful and he proves me right time after time. Cisse and Fernandez are shite as well. And Schaken is average at best! We clearly need a striker, let's hope we can loan Guidetti another year!

I feel bad for our feeder club.

Unlucky Fey, hopefully Clasie stays for a bit.

It's ideed a shame Jaime. Kiev was the hardest opponent out there. If only we could make that goal and then draw Malaga...but that's what if.

Shame we are now in the Spurs department of Europe. But lets hope we draw Inter or Pool or something and be done with it. As for Clasie well im fairly sure this will be his last year already. Same goes for de Vrij I fear.

Still, they arent a team. Spent over 40 million this summer. But I'm not sure about a Reus-less BMG either. I dont rate L.de Jong. Im sure we would have beat them. Perhaps even with Reus as well, cause Clasie>>Reus!

yes, but their defense is very experienced, and that's where it really counts... of course, they are not experienced on the CL level, but they are at least able to call on their maturity at league level (and Dominguez has plenty of recent EL experience).

Not looking forward to this.... after selling Isla, D'Agostino, Doubai, Asamoah, Floro Flores, Torje, Handonovic, Candreva, Cuadrado, and Abdi, Udinese are again starting from scratch, and this is among their first competitive games of the season.

Udinese have a very successful model, but it does them no favours for early season qualifying games, just like last season... I am sure they have bought well (specially like that kid Muriel) and will have a great 2nd half of the season, but they will be long out of the CL by then.

all teams young, inexperienced and most lack quality in certain areas, when i look at leverkusen (kießling LOL)

Leverkusen just need the right coach and we would be brilliant over the next few years... sadly, I don't think that our current regime is THAT much of an improvement over Dutt.

Very saddened by Gladbach today, but I already had this fear when they looked to qualify last season... Leverkusen would not have fared this badly, and even teams like Stuttgart or Hannover would have more of a chance than this Gladbach squad, especially after losing Reus.
