fuck olympiakos, this is for the great good

man utd will get KOed by whoever they play in the QFs.

exactly but moyes saves his job, everyone wins except manu fans

not sure if this is enough for him. reaching QF would only be matching minimal expectation given their draw. admittedly meeting minimal expectations is better than he's managed anywhere else.

I read he has 3 games to save is job, after this west ham and the manchester derby, good performances/results there and he'll be there next season

it's never going to be judged on these games alone. good results might be enough for a stay-of-execution but not any long term security.

pretty funny seeing Man Utd desperately clinging on in the last few mins at home to Olympiakos.

Annoyingly United could probably fluke a win over two legs against anyone besides Madrid, Bayern or Barca in this next round.

    DRAW  cheers

have to say united and dortmund should be the easiest draws, too many freaking injurys, they don`t have the quality of last year, in the first quarter final only 4 starters from the cl final could start, schmelzer is now also out for at least 4 weeks

my ranking of the top 8 teams:

    bayern
    real/barca
    a. madrid
    chelsea
psg (very hard to judge them, they hardly played a good team in europe, couldn`t even beat monaco)
    dortmund
    united

Doesn't look particularly interesting. Barcelona - Atletico hopefully will be fun, but PSG against Chelsea, even if it can be close, can be quite boring with neither Blanc or Mourinho playing particularly exciting football.

Bayern and Real should of course win their matches easily.

That looks like the most interesting tie. PSG is flying at the moment and playing in an easy league can rest their players for those games. Chelsea on the other hand will have to fight in the league (I believe they have the liverpool game sandwiched in between the two ties) but have the advantage of 2nd leg at home. Everyone is going to hate mourinho's 4-6-0 formation in Paris Wink

Dare to Zlatan to score goals in such a late stage of the CL?

real madrid always struggle against good german teams so lets hope this continues, durtmond shouldn't be written off

    Psg Vs chelsea
    Barca Vs Atletico

are the closest tie of the round.

I give atletico the edge over us.

That's fair but I think if you can live with their energy and negate the pressing, you'll be ok. At least Modric and Di Maria are around to help distribute from deep.

No Khedira definitely helps against a team like Dortmund.
