Keeper is hard to decide, Neuer is probably the best with Courtois, but many amazing performances from keepers that made some sick saves. Ochoa, Howard, The best keeper of Africa of all time(forgot who it was) Navas.

My team reflects the lack of decent midfield play.

messi is doing a lot by simply keeping the oppositions midfield and defenders honest, has a single team tried to play attacking football against argentina?, i doubt it. he is the single reason for that, thats looking beyond the fact that he has created the most chances at the world cup.

yeah I'd go with pretty much that. I'd maybe swap out Navas and Lahm for Neuer and Gonzalez of the same teams. Neuer has to be there but Costa Rica deserve representative & Gonzalez was as impressive as Navas in their defence.

would also ponder Valbuena or Cuadrado for Mascherano, but it depends how much we're trying to make a functional team, 'cause you'd definitely need a Mascherano with Rodriguez, Robben, Muller & Messi all there.

Cuadrado had a mere against Brazil tbh.

Anyway the best team according to the stats.





As for de Vrij, I remember Arsenal fans throwing feeces at me for suggesting they should get de Vrij, considering he will become a bigger player then Koscielny, and Hummels will never go to them. Thank god he doesnt go to Lazio but as things stand to HSV or United!

Still have to think for my team, pretty much agree with Jaime.

The sight of Messi as a center forward is really frustrating. He's actually a negative there when's he's not running about.
