    Khedira to Juve. It looks like one of the box-to-box midfielders is leaving. Either Vidal or Pogba. I would love Vidal at Liverpool but it's never going to happen. One of my favorite players he is, a beast of a footballer, for what it's worth I thought he was Juve's best player in the SF of the CL.

    Why? Ever since Berlu sold 48 percent of our shares to investors we've had the money to match our ambition. Rumour is City and Arsenal were in for him but we presented a much more compelling project. Our next targets are Kondogbia and Ibrahimovic and our goal is the Scudetto, which will be monumentally diffcult admittedly. Also, we may get a yes to our stadium project by the end of the month. Finally the investors, represented by Mr. Bee, want a big presence in Asia, and so want a marketable team going there later this summer on tour.

    Milan are on the up...after almost a decade of pain and suffering

    As a Juve and Serie A fan, I hope Milan can get back. We need competition. Our best title was the first when Milan pushed us the whole way. Plus, you tend to do very well in Europe, so that helps the coefficient.

    It's great news for football fans. Football needs Milan to be Milan. Still think you need a proper manager and not this continuing run of ex-players pretending to be in charge. Kondogbia would be a great signing. Wish you all the best Forza!

    Martinez and Ibrahimovic does not make much sense. With someone like Martinez, I would have thought Milan would focus on wingers who can cross. You have Menez and El Sharaawy, but neither crosses much. Someone like Ibra will dominate the space, and Martinez might be set up for failure. But I guess two powerful forwards like those will give Milan a strong personality in attack which they lack at the moment.

    And Kondogbia would be very good, really rate that kid. I am still hoping that Inter snatch him, but looks like you guys are throwing more money at him. Its sad that we lost Dybala to Juve for a couple of million and now are poised to lose our other big target Kondogbia to Milan. Inter's mercato is unravelling fast, the original players that Mancini had asked for were Dybala, Yaya Toure, Kondogbia, Benatia and Darmian. Looks like we will get none of them.

    Milan really badly need some new central defenders, the muppets they have at the moment are useless. They've still got a long way to go to catch up with Juve.

    @Jaime

    We have appointed Mihajlovic--a no-nonsense coach who did extraordinarily well with Sampdoria. We obviously wanted Ancelotti but he wanted to take a year off. Thanks for the well-wishes.

    @bluenine

    Inter will miss a lot/all of their targets because Thohir doesn't want to spend capriciously or indeed significantly.  Perhaps his vision is more long-term but Mancini missing his targets is demoralizing for Inter. Berlusconi's aim with the investors was to find people who could get us back to being competitive as soon as possible. He is odious in many ways, but I'm really glad he sold the minority share to people capable of exerting their financial muscle--quickly.

    Miha is a great choice, he was fantastic at Sampdoria. It will be master vs apprentice in the next Milan derby!

    You are right tho. I think Inter will miss on most of our first choice targets. The plan may be to sell Kovacic and a lot of our primavera players to raise funds. I just hope that Inter spend money on quality, and not quantity. We are just 3-4 players away from being a very competitive team, but these 3-4 players have to be top quality. I actually believe if Thohir had given Mancini his 5 players, we actually could have competed with Juventus for the scudetto (since we don't have european distraction), and definitely qualified for the CL - that itself would have paid back for these players...

    Hopefully Thohir does realise that Inter cannot survive without CL money, our cost base is way too high.

    Kovacic has the potential to become like Xavi, but at the moment is more like a Wilshere. I think he is gifted, and the ceiling to what he can achieve is very high. The problem I see at Inter is that Mancini does not play with a regista which is essentially what Kovacic is, and Kovacic does not have the end product to compete with Hernanes and Shaqiri for the AM role. So his development might stall.

    I personally think Kovacic would suit Barcelona far more than Inter or Liverpool.

    Probably he got none of it.

    In any case, looks like you just signed Joao Miranda. He's been really good over the course of his career at Atletico. 15m isn't a bad price since he's still probably got 3-4 more years at top level.

    Yeah, but Miranda is an downgrade on our actual target Benatia, mainly due to lack of Serie A experience. But I am happy with Miranda - it could have been much worse, if you look at some others Inter were/are considering!

    What do you make of Granada's Murillo?

    But surely Benatia wasn't leaving Bayern after one year?

    Murillo is not bad. Still pretty young so there is room to improve.

    Kovacic has the potential to become like Xavi The problem I see at Inter is that Mancini does not play with a regista which is essentially what Kovacic is

    I personally think Kovacic would suit Barcelona far more than Inter or Liverpool.

    What the f**k are you talking about ?

    What part did you not get? scratch

    The part where you implied that Xavi is a regista. Or that a regista would suit Barcelona.

    Of course Xavi is a regista. Its a very broad definition, my friend. It doesn't mean "Pirlo wanna-be" like many seem to assume Razz

    Yeah, Benatia was never going to be easy - there was some talk of him wanting more playing time, but I guess Inter from Bayern is too much of a downgrade these days.

    The way Ranocchia, Juan, & Vidic have been playing, we will need Miranda and Murillo to perform. I think we will start Miranda-Vidic next season, Mancio likes experience at back.

    And it is sad that you guys think of Xavi as a CM, when he is clearly so much more. He is a playmaker with a license to roam, a director in the midfield. Possession orientated or not, we call such a player a Regista.

    I'd argue he's not even a CM, rather he's a second third gravitating open fielder.

    A regista is somebody who dictates play from deep... like Pirlo. Xavi roams the whole midfield zone connecting play from all angles.
