We've been pretty good but of course we have to have a defensive f**k up, wouldn't be Liverpool otherwise.

I like Danny Ings. Not only is he good and has a good mentality but he is also English. We also have Milner, Henderson and Rossiter who are English.
We can't defend for shit, Rodgers simply can't make a team defend well. That is why he isn't good enough.

Really? I would be livid if Everton player would be sent off in this kind of situation, Can tried an overhead kick and Barry closed down him and header the ball away. It was a foul, but never a yellow, especially 2nd yellow.debaser wrote:Generous assist by the Liverpool defenders there Can is shit and lucky not to get sent off earlier when he overhead-kicked Barry in the head deliberately
It looks like Naismith doesn't have his shooting boots on today, so would like to see him replaced ASAP.
Also, nice to see Liverpool playing 3 Centre Backs against once Centre Forward and conceding when one CB hit the other one with the ball.

If you go in forwards with foot that high and the other player gets ball first and gets kicked in the chest/head, you'd definitely get yellow. Don't see why you get away with it doing it backwards. He knew the player was right behind him so it's reckless play.

He was already in the motion when Barry stepped in with his head, not much Can could do.debaser wrote:stinger wrote:Really? Also, you have written that it was deliberate, which was not true. It seems your hatred for Liverpool is higher than mine, congratulations
Forgot to mention Ings goal - very poor marking by Barkley, but it's another goal where I just hate Howard lack of commanding his area.

Did I see a different replay to Alan Smith there? Sakho got none of the ball that I could see.

Re: Premier League 3/4 October 2015
Everton fans are the most miserable, moaning bastards in the league. 90 minutes spent booing and whinging for anything at all.
Not much to say on the game - not a bad performance. A good performance actually in the first half. Second half both teams were pretty awful. Everton looked the more likely near the end.
Our midfield was embarassing. Milner and Coutinho were dreadful.
Ings was good again.
Probably over for Rodgers now - we will never be able to defend well under him and it's costing us too many points.

Re: Premier League 3/4 October 2015
I want Rodgers gone. That was an awful tactical show from him.
Early in the second half it was evident we NEEDED a CM on the field to partner Lucas, I don't have a clue what position Milner was playing, he was showing up wide right and behind the strikers, he certainly wasn't playing as a CM. So that meant we had a 1 man midfield, or a 1.5 man midfield because Coutinho was forced to drop deep sometimes to fill the huge void that was in front of Lucas. When Lucas had the ball the was no short passing options in front of him or to the side of him.
What the f**k is the point of having two strikers on the pitch if you haven't got a midfield to give them the ball? Because that was what was happening.
He ended up putting a AM in Lallana on for Danny Ings, this only marginally improved the situation but he should have put Joe Allen on for him instead, or Joe Allen on for Milner who is a headless chicken IMO.
An absolutely shocking tactical display from Rodgers, why you would decide to play with a 1 man midfield I have no idea. I can spot this so why can't he?

I have no idea what Milners role was when we had possession of the ball, he did well harrying the opposition when out of possession but one thing is certain...he can't play as a CM, he doesn't have the positioning or discipline to play the role.
I would say Coutinho was quiet, but that was because of tactical reasons IMO, he had to keep on coming deep (especially in the 2nd half) because our 1 man midfield (Lucas) wasn't supplying him and the forwards with the ball. Because of this he was receiving the ball with his back to goal around the half way line. Not ideal.
Did you notice how in the second half most of the play was played in our own half? That was because Lucas couldn't regularly play the ball forward from his position. He is not Veratti FFS, he needs a partner to help him do it.

6 of Liverpool's last 7 games have ended 1-1.
Get him out FFS. His time here is done.

Re: Premier League 3/4 October 2015
How's he doing against anyone?
You rarely see anything from him.. Poaches the odd goal but there's no fire in him anymore. He either needs a change of club or change of career.

Re: Premier League 3/4 October 2015
Alexis Sanchez is the best player in the DPL.
He might not score as many goals as Aguero but he provides much more dynamism and creativity.
He plays even better for us (Chile) where he is surrounded by better players.
He should be playing at a better team than Arsenal, where he is the only world class player.
He will never win a big trophy with Arsenal.
