    RUUD VAN NISTELROOY’S honeymoon at Real Madrid is over after a training-ground row.

    The Dutch striker went for Raul Bravo after becoming incensed by a challenge from the defender.

    Real stars Robinho and Roberto Carlos had to step in to restrain Van Nistelrooy as he squared up to ex-Leeds ace Bravo on Monday.

    Boss Fabio Capello also told the hitman, 30, to calm down.

    Van Nistelrooy was off-loaded by Alex Ferguson after the Manchester United chief became incensed with the forward’s poor attitude.

    Van Nistelrooy also fell out with Dutch coach Marco van Basten — and he has left out the Madrid star from his squad to face England on November 15 in Amsterdam.

    This latest incident casts another shadow over the Bernabeu where Real host Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League tonight.

    Even though I don't like RVN, I have to side with him on this one. While no one knows exactly what happened, according to Marca it was Bravo who instigated the whole thing. Apparently, RVN was leaning over to get the ball and Bravo randomly pushed him and got the ball from him. RVN understandably reacted angrily but both players were separated before anything happened. It doesn't seem like it was a big deal.

    And regarding his time in ManU, wasn't Ferguson praising Ruud shortly before he left by all the effort he was putting during training sessions even though he wanted to leave? It doesn't seem as if the rift they had was that bad. It was more of a straightforward "Since I can't start then I want to leave".

    ricardo you have said this twice now... I wanted ruud out for at least 6 months, fergie dropped him at least 3 months after many fans me one of them were calling for him to do so.
    The fans dont follow whatever fergie does, he was far to loyal to ruud was fergie, ruud was sold because he wasnt good enough anymore true, but also because his attitude sucks. He is not special just moody.

    Ruud comes across so nice in interviews, however you can see from watching him on the pitch he has a nasty side.

    Bit like a tall Paul Dickov with tons more talent.

    I don't think you can trust Patrick "I'm a big mercenary and I threaten to leave my club every summer so I can get a pay raise" Vieira on this.

    But yes, RVN is not exactly known to be a nice guy. But Arsenal players should be the least reliable judges on this, since they've had it for Ruud since he got Vieira thrown out.

    Though I think Vieira likes Roy Keane even less Laughing

    oleguer i think ruud is actually a nice guy away from football. But on the pitch dirty player a bit like bergkamp, bit of a wind up merchant, and in training seems to be the biggest prick ever.

    That's not much to go by especially from this prick. Yes, Ruud is no angel, but the dude wasn't comfortable with what Bravo did then so be it. I would get pissed too if they would do something dumb while I was in a training session
