Unfortunately, its because he only plays for Spurs. Were he at one of the top 4, he'd probably be partnering Rio in England's defence.

I think both are excellent, but Kings pace shades it for me. He is more agile.
Terry is the better leader of men I would assume. More vocal.
In my opinion, Rio/King/Terry are all there on the cusp of WC. Its not an area England struggle with.
