First game of the weekend is underway, 10 mins gone and it's still 0-0 between Barca and Real Sociedad at Camp Nou. Barca's lineup: Valdes, Belletti, Puyol, Thuram, Sylvinho, Edmilson, Xavi, Deco, Ronaldinho, Gudjohnsen, Giuly.

Big game of the weekend is right after this, Sevilla-Real Madrid.

No Zambo and Iniesta thats strange.

Real 2 - 1 Sevilla (Ramos, Raul, Kanoute)

Iniesta got a knock on the ankle in the CL game, so he's being rested as a precaution. Zambrotta is just being rotated since he's played a lot of games continuously in the past few weeks.

Funny what a winning goal in the CL can get you -- To stay at the club and a few games no and again

Gudjohnsen *just* offside after a brilliant through ball. Goal disallowed. The team's passing it around brilliantly, Soecidad are hardly getting a touch. But it would be good to get a goal soon otherwise we could get nervous and hit on a counter.

The linesman who chalked off both goals is now injured Good, I spilt red wine on my carpet watching Xavi's goal disallowed.

Amazing attacking move, but once another goal disallowed, this time Xavi was offside. We're getting close though, Sociedad are leaving a lot of space between midfield and defence.

Linesman injures himself trying to get out of the way of a ball that was going out. Strangest thing ever, he just tried to skip out the way but fell badly on his ankle

F@ckin' hell, another wrong offside decision...Gudjohnsen and Giuly are playing really well on the edge of the Sociedad defensive line, but hopefully sooner rather than later we'll see a combination of them springing the trap and the linesman getting the decision right.

Linesmen must be a RM fan Or maybe Villar Mir isnt paying his "bills"

Maybe a 'stray' ball between the legs, or Belletti can 'accidentally' plough into him?

0 - 0 HT. Combination of close calls and good resistance by Sociedad. However we are bubbling underneath and once we get a goal that doesn't get chalked off, then the floodgates may open.

0-0 at halftime then. Good performance by us but we're quite relaxed, and that could be dangerous. The game is a bit like I expected - fairly close and maybe just one goal will settle it. Towards the end of the half Sociedad started passing the ball around a bit and we were too rushed in our attacking moves. But I think we'll be much better in the 2nd half. The key will be to come flying out and attack them to get a quick goal.

I think it has been a relatively poor first half by us.. we are not concentrated enough and some of the players aren't moving a lot.. Like Kas said, we need to turn the pace up for a bit too grab a goal.
