Is it true that he suffers from "debilitating anxiety" that prevents him from leaving the house for days on end?

Think we can safely rule out a move to anywhere then which is a shame as hes such a good player with, pretty much everything in his game. Cant decide whether hes been better than Joaquin was when he was actually playing football although i think hes got far more of an end product.

I wonder how he handles playing in front of a stadium every weekend?

obviously the task is made easier by the lack of atmosphere in most Spanish stadiums Razz

Yeah its true, that's why he doesn't play for Spain, he says he`s not ready. That's also why he doesn't do the pre-season with the team if they leave Spain. Shame the kid is amazing !

If Navas suffers from an anxiety disorder that is related to his familiarity with his surroundings it must be very unsettling for him when he plays away from home.

His talent must be pretty exceptional as I’d imagine that any kind of disorder of that nature would make it very difficult for him to thrive in a competitive environment, particularly one like football where there are other pressures associated with the criticism and judgement that are inherent to the sport.

    Does his form vary regularly?
