Because Gago is a thousand times the player Higuian is. As he is now, Gago is already one of the best cms in the world, Higuain hasn't done all that much to justify his move, in comparison.

experince costs money. gago has won two championships and has played longer then higuain who just this this season broke through and got a quick transfer which was way too early. if had contiued and scored alot of goals he might have cost more. and im not sure gago is one of the best midfielders in the world. he will have to prove that when he comes. he might have the quality already but lets wait a bit before making such claims.
