Re: Question about Spurs
We've had so many games at home on Sunday the past couple of years - in fact I think we've only had five 3pm starts on Saturday at WHL over the past couple of seasons.
I have a theory though. I discovered that Spurs had the highest % of season ticket holders who are in the Grade A tax bracket (around 60%). Maybe Sky think because the Spurs fans are generally more well off, that they're easier to get the PPV money out of for Sky+ - I mean they'd hardly get any revenue in if they put Liverpool, Everton or Newcastle on the PPV channel, are they?

Re: Question about Spurs
They used to always play on saturdays. Their fans asked for the matches so be moved to Sunday, so their weekend wouldn't be spoiled the first day.kas wrote:Why do they always play on Sundays?
