Who have been the two best players from these leagues so far this season?

    Premiership
    La Liga
    Serie A
    Bundesliga
    Eredivisie
    Superliga
    Ligue 1

For the Premiership it is easy, Ronaldo and Drogba. But what about the other leagues?

    Serie A
    Totti?
    Ibrahimovic?

    La Liga
    Alves?
    who else?

    etc...

    Premiership -

C Ronaldo, Drogba, Scholes and Essien.

Don't think many come close to those 4. Van Persie would of if he stayed fit probably.

    drogba and ronaldo clearly ahead

scholes has had quite a few poor games recently and essien has been played as a centre back too often so although it isn't fair he can't be included.

Carragher has been the outstanding defender in the league Smile

my plan was to get the best 2 from each league.

i have asked about players from 7 different leagues.

so that will be 14 players in total.

then i would ask you to rank these 14 players.

No offence to some leagues but there will be better third and fourth players in some leagues than in others.

How about we each rank our top ten players and then we add together the totals like the off topic compeitions we do?

De Zeeuw & Alves for me.

Though I'm probably biased in favour of Demy de Zeeuw because he's one of my favourite players (you might have noticed that already from some of my posts Wink)

    Definately progressing.

Very much I would even say, the only way I know how to describe it is that he's "maturing" his game....while one of the biggest problems at Ajax is that most don't.

I still don't know exactly what to make of him, he's got no first touch and lousy control.....and still he reminds me of a mix of Kanu & Hasselbaink...

Still developing from the looks of things. The main things he needs to work on are his first touch which isn't the best at times as well as learning to beat is man in wide positions. If he learns this the he will be some player as he has a raw natural ability as well as pace and strength.

He is still only 20 so there is still time for him to become a top player.

No I live in London and am English.

One of my closest friends is Dutch though. We share a house together with two other friends, he is football mad. He moved over at year 8 age (13) but still follows the Eredivise very closely. I probably see more Dutch football than Italian and Spanish because of him!!!

    Diego
    Frings
    Gomez
    Schneider

Diego and Frings especially for the first half of the season, they seem to get their great form back now. Gomez is the youngster of the season, and Schneider the "oldie of the season", one of his best seasons ever.

The most consistent players are Frings and Schneider.
