I've just been informed that for the Champions league final in May in Athens, the Stadium capacity is apprantly just under 75,000.
However, the fans from both finalists will only recieve 17,000, if this is true that really is shocking, the rest of the tickets go to the 'football family' a.k.a rich snobs who couldn't give a toss what the result is.
This means that (And I know it's a little too early) say Liverpool get to the final, the fans who have gone to every single home champions league game this season will probably not get a ticket as no doubt they will have to have at least 1 away CL game recorded on their fan card to stand a chance because of the seat limitations.
What I don't understand is, why do UEFA do this? ( I remember similar problems in Istanbul at the Attaturk), the Champions league final is meant to be one of the biggest games in football, yet they limit the amount of fans to suit people whom the majority of don't even support a club in the final, Uefa should give half to one teams fans and the other half to the other teams fans it's as simple as that.
