Match of the Day "affirmative action"? Empty Match of the Day "affirmative action"?

Who's that new annoying woman in MOTD? I know she's OK looking but I just can't take women seriously when they talk about football most of the time. It's also annoying to see Hanson flirting with her by constantly asking her who's gonna win the Premiership every time. Who did she blow to get the job?

Gabby Logan. She presented quite a lot of football on ITV, including On the Ball and some of their CL stuff. She had a falling out with ITV and unfortunately ended up with the BBC.

It was because Gary Lineker was busy doing the golf coverage.

It must be quite a kick in the teeth to Adrian Chiles and Ray Stubbs not getting promoted to the big presenting position after so many years doing the smaller watered down roles. Then seeing the newcomer take Garys place albeit for a short time.

Yeah, I knew she would only be a temporary replacement. I didn't know what Lineker was doing but I figured he was temporarily away.

But as Cesc said, why not at least give it to Chiles? I haven't seen MOTD 2 more than a few times but whenver I've seen it I think he's done a very good job. Much better than Lineker if you ask me.

I like Chiles, I liked him when he did "working lunch" (a dumbed down business program).

He seems more straight up than most, and doesn't suck up to the players, like ex-players normally do.
