Very much a Champions League player where systems are essential.
He is also very handy in the League.

Didn't he get 12 goals last year for England. Mind you they were against Jamaica etc. They all count though.Tweedle wrote:Cesc wrote:Very much a Champions League player where systems are essential.

Considering how well England did recently against similar quality opposition, I would have thought that they were past the point of demeaning such acheivements.
Besides which, he's only really started one game against decent opposition. The Spain friendly where he was void of decent service.

Re: Best striker in Europe?
Drogba, 30 goals this season, imo is the best striker in Europe.
I wanted Man Utd to sign him when it looked like Ruud was going to leave in 2004.

If Crouch is available this summer surely you'll flog off Rooney to fund a bid? United with a genuine World Class striker would be a scary prospect.

If Liverpool want to win the Premiership next season then surely they should keep there World Class players like Crouch.
Plus Crouch wouldn't suit our style of play.

Ah right. I assumed it was just strikers left in the Champions League. Has to be Eto'o still. He is not back to his best but expect it before too long.

I really don't get why you english don't like crouch.
and I can't understand him not being among the starting 11 at the national team.
