Oh and I hope you have changed your mind about Zamora now...either that or you live in a dreamworld ok

Open net against an Awful Wigan side. Only Heskey seemed upto it out of their lot on Saturday.

Harewood - it was an open goal under no pressure.

Zamora has been in good form though...

There - you got the praise, happy now?

it's an easy excuse. they have been influenced by mourinho's tripe about us only having 4 games this year

if you can't get yourself up and fit for a CL semi final with 4 and half days rest then you shouldn't be getting your 100 grand a week

and yes barca doing it last year blows this ridiculous argument totally out of the water. if you are good enough you will win both

If a club reaches the standards that Barca did last time out - there is no reason why not.

Inter Man-for-man are better. Gilardino would be the Nerrazurri's 5th choice striker FFS!

Milan have 2 things in their favour:

    *Ancelloti.

Not true, the second time was when they were on a high after a great winning streak...

Nah, Inter have been far superior this season... Milan even at their best cannot touch us... Next season could be interesting if they buy good partners for Ronaldo and Nesta.

Barsa didn't have much competition in La Liga when they did it did they?

Also even with these 2 recent examples it's still a rarer occurrence than you would think.

Portuguese League isn't that strong so if a team wins the CL it would be surprising for them not to take the league as well, so I don't take Porto as a very important example here.

Anyone denying that teams only competing on one front have an advantage is being silly, it's obvious.

    Wow.

Very disappointed with the performance. First goal was always going to decide it.

Well done Milan, a worthy Champion of Europe, please win the final, for football!

Man Utd, poor way to depart, but the best team in England, surely without doubt.

Im not saying he is a great player, my point is that he is the 10th best English forward and this shows in some ways how badly England lack decent top quality strikers. Saying that the lad normally plays off the striker and on the wing so seen he has managed 8 goals this season without pens is pretty decent. In my opinion he is better than the likes of Heskey, Vassell and Ameobi who people were mentioning as 9th or 10th best.
