I don't think so. he had an excelent WC in 70, but, apart from that, he was just another good player.

England is tough - whilst its considered one of our best positions now, we have had a dearth of quality centre backs in recent times.

It got so bad that a lot of people over here consider Tony Adams to be one of the greats !

Junior Ross apparently was on his way to PSV last season to replace Farfan or so was the rumour. Hiddink left, Farfan listened to Koeman and stayed, Ross stayed put.

Ross has all the talent to be really good, Farfan good. He needs to leave Peru immediately or he'll be just a promise. He's good, but his career has stalled the last year.
