Wouldn't be my first choice, but I can definitely understand your choice ok

I have great respect for him (both as player and as person)....and he is having one hell of a game !

Let's not forget Man United only dominated in the home leg when Genaro was substituted...

People really need to get of Ronaldo's back -he's a better and more consistent player at 22 than Ronaldinho was at PSG. Just a thought.

Gattuso is a player who's been around the block, & it counts for loads at this level. Just looked how a clued up R10 schooled him last year. Wouldn't bet against Ronaldo doing that to him in a 1-2 years.

Well we will never no how a fully fit Rio and Vidic partnership would have effected the result, so its not really fair to say Milan only lost because Gattuso went off ( however true it may be).

C'mon now this is ridiculous, Gattuso gets megged by ronaldo a few times and fouls him, then continues to foul him every time he touches the ball, while the ref doesnt book him.

    @ Rez

People hate players to a extent, when they don't perform , they are quickly labeled .. 'rubbish' , even though they may have had a decent season.

Such high expectations, its as if you want them to fail.

Er, did you read Shaz's post?

Because we didn't have a strike force ok

In the knockouts you need at least one of your regular strike force. Maybe when you've actually qualified for a champiosn league, you could comment.

As for Gattuso sticking his fingers up at the united players and doing the wanker gesture, he should be suspended for the final, if not I hope Sisokko takes him out.

Today Gattuso played better, but Ronaldo is still one of the best players in the world. Guiding a big club to their first major trophy in 4 years is a very. very big achievement, especially for a 22 yo player.

    Lrd ok

I was afraid to say it for fear of the getting jumped on but I thought the referee was very poor tonight. Lots of fouls for absolutely nothing and then Gattuso doesn't get booked for about 4 bad tackles. He was obviously afraid in case he had to make a decision which effected the final.

    Oh well.

But kaka as the captain was a no-brainer... he has been BY FAR the best player in CL this season...
