    Liverpool!!!

I want an exact repeat of Istambul!!!!

I want to look into the face of all my rossoneri friends and say with a straight face - "you guys are such chokers!" bounce

What a role reversal that would be!!! Whistle

Strange thing for me sometimes. I think beforehand I want one team to win, then I sit down and suddenly notice myself hoping the other team wins. Therefore, I can't honestly say at this moment. I will know once the game is 5 minutes underway.

Heart and will is an important part of football, and what leads to teams assembled with less money to play better than supposedly better teams. Otherwise you could just go out and buy all the most skilful players, who don't actually fight for each other or play as a team, like Real.

Football was a big winner the CL final in Istanbul because the heart and will of Liverpool enabled the fightback in the second half not skill.

My vote went to whoever plays the best football on the night, not who might have played well getting there.

After much pensive thought, my national routes have shone through and I've decided to support Liverpool.

They do tend to play tearfully poor football sometimes but in a one off final I hope at least they will try and give a good account of themselves.

Milan I actually quite like for an Italian club - in the grand scheme of things they're my fourth favourite, but the hype around their team would be unbearable if they went and won it again, and in truth, there's nothing better in life than watching another Italian cry because they've lost in the final Ale

Tweedy, you always support english teams!!

Anyways, for the first time we are supporting the same team...

But I must say, Milan are the big favourites to win it... I wish it was Chelsea on the other end, then it would ve been an even game...

Not always. I'd support Livorno or Reggina if they were challenging for a CL place.

I'm surprised you're supporting Pool to be honest, as you always seem to support Italian teams Wink

Milan certainly are the favourites BUT Liverpool have improved their squad a bit since last time and in Europe, Rafa is a miracle worker so we'll see.

I'm just looking forward to seeing Crouchinho in a CL final! 4 years ago he was rotting in Villa's reserves

I would say Milan are undoubtedly favourites - which suits me fine. ok

Our style of play should work OK against them. Mascherano v Kaka in particular should be interesting. But we need our strikers to convert their chances better than they have been to win.

Also, not conceding 3 goals in the first half should be a big part of our game plan this time.

    @ Roger Hunt

You would agree it would be a close game ?

I think Rafa wants his side to be the underdogs, this could be a advantage.

I would say yes, it will be close... but Milan have the capability to do to us what they did in the first half of 2005 again so we need to be careful.

i have nothing against heart and such but it gets tired if its all a team has to offer. i loved the final in istanbul but when i look back at the game milan were a far better side then milan expect for 6 mins which is also sad for football imo.

    Tough one..

Probably Milan since they are a bit more attacking and have that extra edge in the flair department. But saying that they have been pretty poor in the CL until the last few months.

Still, Liverpool has done very well considering the players they have and they can be very interesting to watch when they really start to go all out attack.

So if Liverpool decides to win the game by attacking I will support them, if not, then FORZA MILAN

Don't really want Milan getting any closer to our record of 9 European Cup/CL trophies and I don't really want Maldini to equal Gento's record of 6 winners' medals...

But I suppose in truth I don't care, I just want to see a good match.
