Just read this myself...I think he's drawing too many conclusions from that occasion. As Atletico and Betis fans (among others) have shown earlier in the season, things can get ugly in Spain as well. And of course there's still problems with racism and similar ignorance.

Also, last night was a great atmosphere because for Espanyol it was a big achievement just to reach there. Kind of like a small team reaching the FA Cup final - the fans go for a "good day out", not necessarily expecting to win.
