setting aside the quality of football on display, what is the most exciting league in the world at present?

we can take into account the league table, fans, goals, tight games, etc.

Fans is more certain clubs though...so it's hard to judge. You also have to take into account over here our season tickets are on average about £500 and matchday tickets on average about £30.

There are plenty of teams here who still sell-out despite that which I think is a good indicator of decent fans But again, linking that to my first point. There are clubs who get nowhere near to selling out, so it is for sure certain clubs

Or maybe England looking at the latest horrorshows ?

Fans = Germany without a shadow of doubt.

who would have predicted Stuttgart at the top, or Nuernberg leaving Dortmund and Leverkusen in their wake

the Bundesliga is the world's greatest fans' paradise

IMHO one or two fewer flying pigs and chocolate fountains and a bit more tactical awareness, grit and organization would not be too bad

it IS kind-a hard to look beyond the Bundesliga. The stadium atmosphere is generally better than in Holland, which lacks the size of stadiums and average attendance in Germany. It was a very close race this year, which is usually the case when Bayern have a poor year.
In terms of the championship race, Germany ranks alongside Holland, Portugal and Spain in terms of excitement and unpredictability.

La Liga is the most exciting

The Premiership is the overall best league though
