I don't like the sound of it.

Figo signed the deal. After Inter won the scudetto, Moratti publically requested Figo to stay back and name his price... and now suddenly, Al-Ittihad have violated the contract??

I think Figo is trying to find a way he could stay.

This is not good. Much as I like Figo, and his has been an useful contribution... and I really like him as a player, and his committment to the job/club... but my mind tells me his best is past, and Inter need some new blood... if Figo stays, then we may not buy a replacement, and that will hurt us.

I think Figo probably has one last season in him, but he won't be able to play 35 games a season. He provides experience...which Inter will need in the CL next season.

He played 3300 minutes this season in 47 games, which is quite a lot!!! So maybe he can play another season or two, in less games...

Compared to our benchmark Zanetti, who played 4501 minutes in 50 games this season (its remarkable how El Capitano still beats everyone in minutes played and workrate even at this age!!)

It's all about how you "treat" your body, and if you take care of it.

Zanetti obviously has, pity he turned down a move to Real all those years ago.
