Just read that he and his missus asked their guests to donate to charity rather than buy them wedding gifts that they probably don't need with all the money he makes from playing football.

What a difference from other players that on top of their hefty salaries try to make even more money from their weddings.

Its a nice gesture - Claudio Pizarro could do with taking a leaf out of McFadden's book

It must be noted, Gary Neville did turn down a magazine deal to make extra money.
