Johan Cruijff (1974) or Ronaldinho (2003)

Who has made the bigger impact at Barça?

Cruijff - helped Barça win their 1st La Liga title in over 24 years, in his first season..(don't forget the 5:0 win over Real Madrid at the Bernabéu..)

Ronaldinho - inspired Barcelona to win their first La Liga title in over 6 years in his 2 second season (and European Cup in his 3rd..and who can forget that display against Real Madrid at the Bernabéu last season)

Note: we are not comparing the two players..

When Ronaldinho arrived, Barça fans were tired of being humilliated by RM fans. Now they´re in heaven.

I think Ronaldinho, just because of the optimism and the good feeling he brings to the team (of course I wasn't even born when Cruijff arrived). I think it is very very rare to have a top level player that just seems to spread joy in a team.

    I was being serious. Wink

You know, Maxi has impressed me more than Eto'o in our games v you ok

Maxi > Eto'o (OK this is obviously a joke, but I'm serious about the fact Maxi had more effect than Eto'o in the time he was given ok)

I'm not a Maxi hater at all. I've only ever seen him play once.

Unfortunately he never got many games (one last season against Betis I think), but I am sure he will prove himself at Mallorca Wink

Cruyff has had the bigger impact, hell he is running Barça in the shadows !! Why do you think Rosell left ?

Go watch en un momento dado.

Given the situation back then I'd say it's impossible to make a simular impact as Cruyff did....unless there'll be a second Generalissimo...

Although Cruyff was before my time, from what I've heard and read, and from what I've seen of Ronaldinho's impact, I would say Cruyff. There's nothing in it, you could say both have had equal impacts, but IMO Ronaldinho's impact was helped by a quality squad all round, who all had the hunger and talent and started to gel together. Also we must not forget Rijkaard's insistence on a DM (initially Davids) that finally fixed the problems in the team and allowed the confidence to flow back in the 2nd half of the 03-04 season.

Is it still forbidden to speak Catalan or to name your son Jordi ?

Any point of view on this is biased of course, but still : watch "en un momento dado"....to me it was really surprising to see how much Cruyff meant to some of those people....
