Is this a multiple vote?
Where is Pato & Bojan Krkic .. both better than any German talent.

Only international football? I will say one of the Frenchies. I'll go with Benzema but French Forwards seem to be overshadowed buy their midfielders so Ribery is probably a better bet. Any I would just like to tell you that you have missed out the current best player in the World. Very sloppy.

for the purpose of this survey Pato, Krikic, Kroos and Co are too young
Kaka too old
somebody seems to have fiddled with the votes though
I doubt at this time of the night 21 people have participated
looks like another modding mishap

the thing about Ronaldo is
he won't win much with Portugal , i fear
with ManU he could get lots of EPL silverware, but one CL MAX , if he stays for years
should he go to Real , it's a different ball game
awards could come to him galore though
bear in mind that the most decorated English players now is Hargreaves, after years at Bayern
so in terms of silverware of the international kind, you have to look at Real and Milan
ALL the others will NOT reach the final of the CL consistently
in terms of national teams, it's only Brazil, Italy and Germany, possibly now also France that will go all the way regularly
since Brazilians ALWAYS end up at Real or Milan + Italians always go to Milan, that's the kind of people you will be looking at
BUT
young superstar Italians are rare to find now
which leaves Brazilians ,unless Ribery, Benzema, Gomez or Poldi go to Real or Milan
other option: a club like Barca, Bayern or Chelsea manages to reach the CL final regularly
in terms of awards, it's ALWAYS Brazilians or the exception at Barca, Real, Milan , Juve and Inter
it's not fair, but true
C.Ronaldo could be the next Figo though
Poldi and Gomez really would have to go to Spain to really impress
a Dutchie would bench them though
so they are out of the running as well
a MESS

What’s different? He goes to Real Madrid like you say, will he have a better chance of winning the CL .. At this moment in time I would beg to differ. Ronaldo and Portugal if they get their A game right, they have a good chance of doing well in the next two international tournaments (if they qualify for WC2010)

ManU under FERGIE are like Arsenal under Wenger
they will NEVER or NEVER AGAIN win the CL
once Fergie leaves the club will implode though
Real will ALWAYS challenge for top trophies , if only because they tend to buy the best players in the world and have a certain intimidating aura

Well exposing ignorance and setting facts right is the duty of any good Redblood. Sadly my other half is a Chelsea/PSG fan, but we don’t care much for them.

How is that? He's in a different league to any of those players. As he is to the likes of Podolski, Nani, Anderson & Walcott.

I'll give you Podolski and Walcott, maybe he's up there with them. Though Walcott has already did some things on the cl stage and made a wc squad despite being a year younger than him.

Otto: Hargreaves the most decorated English player?
What about Beckham, Scholes, Neville, Terry, Lampard (taking into account an EPL medal is worth at least 2 Bundesliga medals)?
I'd say out of all these, probably Ronaldo. He's already won a fair amount at a young age- EPL titles, FA cup, and been in a Euro final and WC play off.
International achievements aren't necessarily a good measure anyway, since unless you are Italian, Brazilian, Argentinian or French, the likelihood is that you wont win much silverware.

How can Huntelaar be in that list...24 he is! Or 25 even. Then you arent a talent anymore. Especially since it seems the peak of a player went down from 29 to 26/27
