What's worse?
Losing 4-0 away to Utd or losing 2-1 at home to Barnsley?

Very tough. Who do you think will make the back pages tomorrow as well?
I'd probably say Liverpool losing.

Probably the Utd game actually - more people support Utd so it will sell more papers.
Like rosicky though I'd rather lose away to Utd than at home to Barnsley

Same as Rosicky, losing at home to a much inferior team like Barnsley is worse, particularly when you try hard in the game (even if it is an unlucky defeat). I'd be absolutely mortified if we did that, whereas I can accept losing heavily to Man Utd away because they are a very good team (and particularly when our lack of effort was a significant contributor to the scoreline). I'm extremely disappointed with our players today, but I would be feeling a lot worse if we lost to a team like Barnsley at home.

I'm talking about what will make the papers. Look how much press coverage the Arsenal - Liverpool game last season got when you knocked them out of the cup.

Liverpool losing at home to Barnsley is nothing short of a disgrace.
Itandje, Finnan, Carragher, Hyypia, Riise, Benayoun, Lucas (Gerrard 75), Alonso, Babel (Kewell 69), Kuyt, Crouch.
More or less a very strong team
Maybe Sven can give Rafa tips on how to actually score against Manchester United.

Ah right, I was responding to Tweedle's question. Probably the Man Utd performance on the back page, because there are more Man Utd fans around who will want to read it and it's a good opportunity to put Rooney on the back page, and they rarely waste the chance to put an England star on the back page when they can. If there are any rumours of Rafa getting the sack though this evening that could swing it back the other way.

If they lose to Inter he's a goner. Can't even see Liverpool fans arguing with that.

Apparently he wants to work in a different league. Why would you want him anyway? He also plays $h!t football.
Van Gaal, Spaletti or Lippi would be good appointments

What would be the point of sacking Benitez in mid February ,after you've been knocked out of all tournaments? Would that improve Liverpool's position in the league? Of course it won't, it'll just aggrevate the situation. If you're going to replace a manager, do it in the summer. Spuds just about got away with it with Ramos but replacing a manager in February is just ridiculous.

Gallas said: “They are a strong team with lots of experienced players. But, sometimes, they think they’re too good. Too arrogant, yes.
"It can make you complacent. We understand that problem. We know we have to score goals, be strong in defence and kill teams in the first half.
“Our squad can win things. And I know that it will be difficult for Manchester United to win.”

Out of the blue it's always the Barnsley game. The way Liverpool's season has gone this year being destroyed the way Arsenal were would be far worse, the "unlucky" poor results are unfortunately expected and explainable with delusion.
