Some idiots get too consumed with all the unneeded anger, all I see is fools with f@ck ajax shirts and they think this is a war and what happens some of the least intelligent ones decided “lets burn the place down”. This is a casualty and I hope the FA comes hard on these hooligans.

het stadion Euroborg is brand uitgebroken. Zwarte rookwolken hangen in het stadion. Inmiddels is de Groningen tribune achter het doel leeg. Op het veld worden inmiddels diverse gewonde fans verzorgd. Of het duel nog zal gaan beginnen is op dit moment nog onduidelijk.
[update] Scheidsrechter Braamhaar meldt dat hij zal gaan overleggen of het duel nog door zal kunnen gaan over een half uur. Op dit moment worden er nog fans verzorgd op het veld en hangen er nog grote rookwalmen

It's all rather unfortunate, we've got no experience with this kind of thing and it shows :
Brandjes op de tribune hebben bij de wedstrijd FC Groningen-Ajax voor paniek gezorgd. De aanvang van het treffen is zeker met een half uur uitgesteld.
Het vuur ontstond toen rollen wc-papier die op het veld waren gegooid in brand werden gestoken. Vuurtjes verspreidden zich over de tribune achter één van de doelen, waar de mensen wegvluchtten voor de rook. Enkelen van hen werden met een brancard afgevoerd.
