    Paddypower says:

    Man U win 1.16
    Draw 6.00
    WHU win 17.00

looks like they think West Ham are Derby

what do you think about West Ham's chances to get a result?

Man U having to play extra time v FC Barcelona wouldn't harm

i think West Ham's best chance of getting anything is frustrating them and holding out for a 0-0. they're not going into it with good form or much to play for, while Man Utd obviously have to win. An early Utd goal, and I think it'll be a fairly straightforward win, but if they can hold out a while or sneak a goal, it might get interesting.

IF Ñol starts, then the Hammers have a slight chance of leaving with at least a point. Ñol is needed in midfield to control the tempo a bit with some good passes sprayed all over the pitch to his West Ham teammates. This in turn would automatically slow down the Mancs attack. Without Ñol, the Mancs will OWN the midfield. <Ale>

Many have said it and I will agree with them, Manchester United lose to Barcelona will be a huge boost to West Ham and I can see Manchester United handing the Premiership to Chelsea, simple as that.

However a victory of Barcelona and the team will go into the game with confidence and hope to pull a performance out of the bag, West Ham for sure has a good chance of winning or getting a point. But its a question of will the real Manchester United turn up.

You’ve waited all season for Carrick to slip up didn’t you that was such a painful moment, Chelsea did get their revenge on him that’s for sure. He didn’t deserve that and he will love it when (or if) Manchester United beat them for the title.

Knowing Wigan they will “game raise” the confounders !

I dont keep track, but I think it was only a few games that I had to wait for him to slip up..the handball was just to top it off. He's a good player Carrick..but not the god you fans want him to be.

Wigan might raise their game sure..but fucking hell. Best player in England..best defender in England..Rooney..Scholes..Tevez..Vidic. You should win easy.

Wait no one has made him into a messiah figure, I have to say you must be lost in translation, Carrick is receiving justifiable praise for his performances in the past 4 months and don’t forget a section of Manchester United fans did not take to him well and I’m right in saying it has diminished somewhat, he is a valuable member of the squad now and hope he continues to progress in the right way, him signing a new contract shows his commitment to the cause.

At one stage I was an advocate for him to get a international call up, but its mission impossible now.

Wigan will roll over for Utd - it's Steve Bruce, and they'll have nowt to play for (I assume they'll be safe by then). Bruce will not want to upset Fergie so they can share a nice friendly expensive bottle of wine afterwards

West Ham are the best chance of messing it up for Utd

We have a chance...the odds that they give are fairly ridiculous. Depends what players we have available.

I reckon Curbishley might go 4-5-1...though unless we have the players available for that, he better not make-shift.

I think Carlton Cole caused Man Utd LOTS of problems last time...he should start I think. If he goes 4-5-1...he should play Zamora on the left and have Cole up front on his own.

We need Upson back though...Tomkins inexperience really does show (it did against Derby and Newcastle).

I can't see many Man Utd fans actually taking this game for granted.

The match being an early kick off is good omen. Early kick offs are more likely to be upsets.

Man U have no Vidic & van der Sar has been all over the place recently, without being punished for it yet....

An early goal for us to get things started would be great, but keeping it 0-0 will increase our chances too. Man U will get nervous if they haven't secured a win yet.

& maybe we'll even get somebody like O'shea ont he pitch

    Hammers cheers
