Like you say there's the wages, then there's the massive crowds we get, the FACT we're a more successful club that finished above you last season. Then ofcourse he has connections and friends in Newcastle.

more successful club?? what trophy have you won in the last 50 years?? none, thats right NONE! bigger crowds. we sell out nearly every week. we sell out away games nearly every time too. our stadium is smaller that has something to do with it aswell.

Due to the fact he has his head screwed on, he need another couple of years at west ham IMO to mature and develop. He is definatly a Fergie player though and i wouldn't be surprised if he was tracking him or even put in a bid as a last resort. But at this stage he isn't going to solve any problems for us and i would rather go for him once he's complete even though it will cost more......for his sake and ours

I hope so, it's realistic with the young squad you've got, the manager and the surprising ambition of your chairman that you can ,

however all the money in the world (see Spurs and Newcastle ) can't buy you a ticket into the top 4 which is where you can be assured of keeping your players and challenging for honours.

Reo-Coker is going to go on to be a big big star though i'm pretty sure, he has all the attributes, like a certain Paul Ince, who's to say he won't follow in his footsteps though hopefully with a better attitude and more respect.

On another note : I've always found West Ham a very sympathetic club.
The combination with Redknapp was always a good one....and after the relegation you got back even stronger with a team that plays football that's "very pleasing on the eyes"
