I do worry about this game as we need Rooney for away games. Tevez is abit like Torres in that most of his goals and good performances come at Old Trafford.

Also with Rooney injured and Nani suspended we may need Giggs to start.

I don't think a team that has sacked their manager during the season has gone on to win the league.

If Barcelona can own Chelsea on that sand trap the Bridge was then we have zero excuses not to do so against Wigan.

Rooney and Vidic probably will be back for the game which is good news, Manchester United have to kill the game in the 1st half no time for nerves.

I also found it farfetched but I wouldn’t be surprised if it did happen given the fact they have saved their Premiership status he may want to give one or two fringe players a run out (if there are any) but the big boys should play.

Bolton are just as likely to do the same thing...

Every team has their own interest at heart, sure because the final day there is so many pressures if Wigan decides to rest one or two players Steve Bruce’s integrity will be brought into question. To be fair Manchester United don’t need Wigan being weakened to beat them, the pitch is another question but shouldn’t be a deciding factor. The Premiership trophy looks much better with red & black ribbons let’s hope it stays that way

I'd worry about the The Animal Emile Heskey and the The Bone Breaker Chris Kirkland, ex-Red's who will show no mercy

Actually there are a few others at Wigan players who support(ed) Liverpool including Jason Koumas, Ryan Taylor and someone else I cannot remember.

Hopefully they'll disobey Bruce's non tactical/pass the ball/do not start with a keeper tactics

The best thing Bruce can do is give his fans the opportunity to see the Premiership trophy presentation at the JJB, this is a once in a lifetime moment, that trophy will never be lifted at the JJB ever again …

Y'know that was really pathetic. When you consider how much passion they showed earlier in the season at home. I would hate to have Curbishley as a coach.
