    Just a nostalgia trip... been watching old clips, what a legend... I miss Baggio!!!

    These may not be his best goals, but they bring back memories... I remember all of them:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Pm0bWwJMnM

    Different people's Baggio top 10, I think they missed some of his best goals... but then, everyone has a different Baggio Top 10, there were so many great and memorable ones:

    A better collection - Its strange, I remember every one of them!!

    His world cup goals... good to hear the Italia 90 song, very nostalgic!!

    Great player, actually quite underrated, but that was cause of the insane amount of great players at that time. I used to be him as a kid when playing football!! Instead of Romario or van Basten, though I was Romario as well on some ocassions. Loved his hair back then, dont like it so much these days.

    Very gifted player that played with elegance.

    First Roberto Baggio goal I ever saw was the corner he scored against Brescia. He served the ball in between the man on the post and the keeper. cheers

    Fey got a point about the amount of great players at that time. Baggio was definitely one of them.

    Elegance defines him well. Whichever club he went, eh left great memories... even at Inter or Milan, where he wasn't really played much, he left his mark with some great moments and memorable goals.

    I remember his goal against the Czechs in Italia 90 like it was yesterday... it was incredible. He had just broken the world record transfer fee, we were all expecting a revolution, and in his first game he does just that - walks through the entire czech defence like it was a jog in the park!

    Great player, but there is a long standing aversion to pony tailed players. They look gay. Or in some cases odd like Seaman.

    He was the first player I seen doing that cross where you put your foot behind your other foot and cross it in. Had never thought of doing that and then started to try it down the park. Used my sister's clip on ponytail to kid on I was the divine Buddha.

    Didn't work well as just looked like a big pasty scottish kid with a bad haircut.

    I think I read somewhere that Baggio lives in Argentina. Is that correct?

    Yep he lives in Argentina and supports Boca! He's a buddhist aswell and has kept a relatively low profile since retiring.

    @Blue
    I only caught the end of Baggio's career. I remember his stunning performance against Real Madrid in the CL in 98 and also the linkup between him and Vieri in a game against Roma in 99 i think it was. Shame those 2 didn't play together more often. I also remember those goals in the first video against Parma. That was in the 4th place playoff (effectively a playoff for the CL place) and Baggio really dug Lippi out there.

    I've taken a shine to Boca too after reading the 442 article on their footballing academy and how it is the most successful and productive in world football.
