Similar players with seemingly bright futures,

plying their trades at the opposite ends of North London.

Standard procedure: here are the compilations for those of you who've never seen either (this section is mostly for Ozil if he wants to play).

    Luka the 14year old lesbian

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOn04_6_6NI

    Samir the Moroccan marketstall trader

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHA8P7G_y3Q

Relying on your heady mix of agendas, bias, and miniscule footballing acumen,

I want to know who is DA BEST.

Reasons would be useful please if you want to play along.

Kimmy you cretinous anti-Spurs toe rag, your impending vote for Nasri has already been noted Ale

+ the fact that Kimbo ALWAYS votes Ale

Nasri has been doing rather well recently but thats only because he's played more centrally. He'll be shifted out wide again at some point unfortunately.

Personally, I much prefer Modric on current ability. He's more versatile and he has a bit more flair to him than Nasri. I think that Nasri can improve a lot more though and I hope to be proven wrong.

Modric has a lot more flair?! You couldn't be more wrong.

I'm a big fan of Modric and i'd argue that his passing ability is better than Nasri but, our lovely frenchie has amazing close dribbling ability as displayed by his goal yesterday.

You only need to take a look at his games for Marseille when he was deployed in the Cesc role to see this.

It's a real shame we can't get away with playing Cesc and Nasri in the middle like Barca do with Xavi and Iniesta, we'd see even better football.

Tweeds, i abhore this objective non biased approach.

That said, i do like dear old Luka "i look a bit like Johan Cruyff" Modric.
And he probably has been better than my favourite mahgrebain Samir on, judging his displays last season.
Samir's last three games have all been excellent though. He really is twice the player playing in the middle. Samir is probably slightly more strong defensively too. And is he younger?

Rosicky is slightly closer in playing style, looks and nationality to Modric.

They both strike me as a bit inconsistent (and perhaps injury-prone), but I think Modric wins for me with the better vision & passing and a more likely provider of assists/goals.

    ok

He is in progress. I'll give it few more years before some big European team comes for him with a major transfer fee.

    As for the comparison:

Head says Modric. Relatively older, wiser and at full equanimity. Ale

Heart says Nasri. Comparatively raw, but more talented. Will have to be consistent. Even in his L'OM days, he used to be magnificent against Lyon or Bordeaux one week, then be complacent in subsequent game by passing it around, & be comfortable doing just that.

If he could mix his performances against Lyon, United, Liverpool, Porto, etc to the performances against Everton, Liege, Burnley, Hull, etc over one full season (as against 2-3 years), he could become a superstar . Ale

Spot on the money babe as usual.

Naturally, being a Spurs fan means I'm immediately inclined to believe our entire squad + Tim Sherwood is World Class.

    Ergo, for me:

    Modric >> God >> Nelson Mandela >> Iniesta >> N Zogbia >> Arteta

I haven't factored Nasrie into my comparison because playing for Arsenal means he's dead to me.

Thank you Dimbo. For calling it exactly how it is. Again Ale
