Predict the 20 teams in order and say why you've reached those conclusions.
I'm aware there's still just under 2 weeks to go 'til the new season and transfers may still have an impact but what the hell!
Mine:
1) Manchester City
2) Manchester United
3) Chelsea
4) Spurs
5) Arsenal
6) Liverpool
7) West Ham
Newcastle
9) Everton
10) Stoke
11) Villa
12) QPR
13) Southampton
14) Sunderland
15) Swansea
16) Wigan
17) Fulham
18) Reading
19) West Brom
20) Norwich

Like when Chelsea spent millions and millions to buy the title, you wait ages for one then 2 come along at once. City have by far the best squad in the league, will have the belief from winning the title and could even add players before the window shuts (if they sign Agger then Kompany + Agger will be fucking incredible.)
United will of course be up there. Even if Rooney got injured for 6 months, Giggs was 50 and own goals retired they'd still be up there. Everything suggests they should start to fade though - still no quality central midfielders, an aging defence and keeper issues still not completely ironed out.
Chelsea have added several exciting players to their squad but it all hinges on how Torres does IMO. No more Drogba so you'd think he will be the focal point of the attack. If Hazard hits the ground running and Mata continues where he left off or even improves then they have a good chance of challenging....but they need to get the balance right and certainly try and solidify the defence. Cahill was a fantastic signing IMO and we'll see the best of him but Terry is in decline and Luiz is a wild card.
I fancy Spurs over Arsenal because I'm certain RVP is going to leave and without all his goals I just can't see how Arsenal are going to be as threatening. Spurs can score from a variety of different sources and have managed thus far to keep hold of all their key players.
Liverpool as it stands haven't improved their squad. I'd even argue it's probably a bit worse. Borini in, Aquilani, Maxi, Kuyt and probably Bellamy all gone. Carroll maybe going and Agger too. I'm definitely concerned but I believe Rodgers will give some of our promising youngsters a chance whereas Kenny didn't seem too keen on doing so. We need several signings in in the next couple of weeks because at the moment our midfield is still too leightweight and uninspiring, our wingers are laughable. If Borini can chip in with some goals then him and Suarez should be enough in attack along with Carroll if he stays. Defence if fine if we can keep hold of Agger and Skrtel.
Relegation I've just chosen 3 weak teams on paper. West Brom will suffer from the loss of Woy as much as I don't like the man. Norwich will be a classic team that overachieved in their first season and from the 3 promoted teams I have guessed at Reading to go back down.
