I wouldn't mind the lows so much if they were balanced out with equivalent highs once in a while. A trophy, perhaps. Or - I'm not even greedy - occasionally winning by 4 or 5 against a big club. But no, my football supporting is a groundhog day of England losing penalty shootouts and Villa going ahead against Man Utd & throwing it away or winning one week & conceding 6+ the next. A boot stamping on a human face forever.
