3 top clubs were willing to pay the 45 million exit clause

real, city and another english top club

    BUT DRAXLER REFUSED ALL OFFERS

well kinda feels a bit untrue, paying so much for an 19 year old scratch

Apparently we've had a £20m bid rejected for Lars Bender. After losing two key players already, can't see this deal coming off.

Corinthians fans voted Paulinho their best ever player in CM position - hard worker off the ball. Given what he's been doing for Brazil not just in Confed Cup, happy to take our chances Laughing

update on our teams who play in europe:

    1. bayern = stronger
    2. bvb = stronger
    3. leverkusen = equally or stronger, they filled there squad pretty good and replaced there sold players, i am very interested in spahic, a very experienced defender
    4. schalke = stronger
    5. stuttgart = stronger

those 5 teams look very well prepared for europe

frankfurt and freiburg could be a surprise package in both ways, both play modern football, could be a hit or a flop in europe, given that die Buli standard is not bad, i think both will get out of the group, more you really can`t expect from them

frankfurt kept there team together, they are in for derdiok or whatever his name is, the swiss striker, while freiburg made lateley some decent transfers

    new salary record in the league, and only one third of the complete league turnover is going to the players, thats around (748 Million) the year before it was 708 million;

with bayern leading this rank with 140 million (last year 125 million €)

    Psstt!

The coup of the year may be Juan "El Loco" Vargas, he's been let go by Fiorentina. Hard to blame Viola because Vargas went on a down spiral after the death of his grandfather - a dad to him actually.

Vargas is ready now (I believe he is) to rampage down that left flank. He's got 2 to 3 solid seasons of football left in him.

It appears some Germans are aware of his 'comeback'.

Whoever signs him from Fiorentina and it may just be the coup of the year!

Pep's trying to teach Bayern to play 'Puro Toque' Football...one-touch passing, "Tiki-Taka".

The best performers in Pep's new look Bayern, in TRUE order:
    1. Thiago Alcántara...he walked into the team and OWNED it.cheers
    2. Claudio Pizarro...speaks the same football language as Pep and Thiago; missed two sitters (strikers need 5 straight games at least to get rhythm.
    3. Shaquiri...looks great playing "Puro Toque" Football
    4. Ribéry...outstanding!

    The worst player?
    1. Kroos...struggling so much with Pep's football concept. Fair play to Kroos, it's probably the first time he's asked to play one-touch football and the midfielders are the ones who are shown up. Kroos NEEDS a lot of games to understand and learn "Puro Toque" Football.
