No wonder Villa can't score, they don't know the offside rule.

Also it has to be said, who's your next Messiah? Collymore or Prince William. cheers

Granted, Pelle needed to burried that chance, happy for Janmaat, clearly a better signing then Anita and de Jong.

Its a shame that Southampton and Wham are falling of though.

I'll gladly take a draw tomorrow - Aguero and Silva up against a tired defence that will probably include Lovren scares me.

We should over-take United in the next few weeks - they have some tricky fixtures.

Arsenal will cruise to 3rd once they are eliminated in Europe.

Tim Sherwood is OFFICIALLY the worst manager in the history of Aston Villa Football Club. This is using a sample size almost as large as the one some Spurs fans used to anoint him the best THFC manager ever.

Debster is actually really in the shitter this season, and tbh, perhaps its for the best if they get relegated. Its been so boring for all these last years, a step back will perhaps cause for something where they can take two steps forward again in the future. If fucking Emily can become subtop, so can debster FFS!

It's a shame he's quite a nice guy, because alot of Newcastle fans would love them to go down. I suppose i'll have to wave my willy elsewhere out of respect.

Henderson, Lallana, Allen, Coutinho all fantastic. Even Lovren looked good.

2 points off 3rd with good fixtures coming up - going to be interesting.

Given Thursday evening exploits, thats some result for Liverpool. I really, intensely dislike Rodgers, but he deserves a lot of credit for how his team have found that rhythm again that went missing after Suarez was sold. You have to think they will be top 4 now. Probably with United, which would be a shame as Van Gaal's team are so incredibly average to watch, the football is so dire, but they keep picking up results. Southampton finally look to be running out of steam, we just arent quite good enough squad wise, and Arsenal....who knows with them anymore. Wenger hokey cokey.

    Agree.

I really rate Pellegrini and I understand that 4-4-2 (4-2-2-2) is his favourite formation, but its going to cost him a chance to defend title and will probably cost him his job at the Etihad. Especially when he has a nice collection of midfielders who can play well in various roles behind single striker. Aguero, Bony and Dzeko also can play well up top on their own and each of them offers a different strengths..

Well the telegraph reckons our profits for the year could be around £50m, maybe the new manager will be promised that money for transfers.

    Pellegrini wave
Pelle showing he can't cut at the highest level when there is real competition. There is no way he will survive unless he pulls a miracle in Barcelona because hard to imagine Mou letting this one slip. They have Southampton, Man Utd, Liverpool at home and Arsenal away while City have Man Utd and Tottenham away and Southamption at home.

    Why do you hate him?
Otherwise I agree with what you're saying. Surprised to see how little Man Utd have progressed under Van Gaal. They are just stagnating and getting points when they don't deserve it and occasionally they play well. From the beginning the squad was ill conceived with little thought to it and it really shows. Not sure Man Utd have gotten much out of this season except to acclimatize some of their new players to England.

Pretty much. Annoying that Chelsea could basically win this game in second gear.
