Re: Premier League 6-7 February.
One thing that isn't crazy is our shitness. We are really really shit. Klopp should just walk away like Neville at Valencia. What's the point? Our owners are busy putting ticket prices up to 77 pounds to watch Milner and Lallana pass it sideways rather than trying to add actual quality to this team under Klopp.

Getting weirder. We're 2-0 and Gabby Agbonlahor scored for the first time in about 13 years.

Two for Villa
How fat is 2016 version of Agbonlahor? Still some pace left though.

69% possession and about a million chances, WBA are easily the worst team we've played this season, and we've played some horrible shit.

Re: Premier League 6-7 February.
Sounds like 0-1 flattered us, couldn't get near their box - deserved a point from 1st game though !
Reserve full backs and Alli on bench for spurs + chadli & son can play anywhere in front 4 - makes a mockery of people like me who thought they had team but not the squad, they are genuine title contenders.
QSF doing good job but slight concerns of favouritism of jurado over the superior abdi from me !

Re: Premier League 6-7 February.
3:0 at Stoke. 2nd clean sheet in a row, it's not coincidence that we did it when Stones and Howard were out. Not big test ahead of Martinez what to do with them... but he failed every time in the past, so I don't have much hopes.
Stoke without Shawcross is a joke.
Btw, question to Tottenham fans - what was wrong with Lennon that Pochettino didn't want him? It looks like he doesn't fancy out and out wingers, but Lennon is not too bad, offers top workrate which Pochettino should really like and would probably be useful as a squad player.
Also, it's 3nd match in a row when Aston Villa does look decent (when playing 11 vs 11). It took time for Garde to get things under control, but it seems they now resemble a team at least.

They are worst team I've seen by a mile.
Completely devoid of pace and skill.
They will sack Pulis in summer and he will never work in top flight again.
Its an exciting premier league but low quality - every time someone tells me this is a good league I say that if it was WBA would be relegated already.
This isn't a snobby/purist thing they are just indescribably bad.

I don't think they will if he will keep them in Premier League for another season.Pierre Littbarski wrote:Kimbo wrote:69% possession and about a million chances, WBA are easily the worst team we've played this season, and we've played some horrible shit.

Their owner (Pearce) wants to sell the club sooner than later. If Pulis will keep WBA he won't fire him and will be hoping he will keeo them again. Even if Pulis plan is to do it through playing 4xCBs and 4xDMs in starting XI.
In his dinosaur ways Pulis probably doesn't realize he lost a great opportunity today - he should try to exploit Newcastle defensive issues and lack of confidence following Everton match and attack them with Rondon/Berahino/Sessegnon trio. Instead he tried to park a gigantic bus inside St. James' Park and kept all three on the bench.

Re: Premier League 6-7 February.
It was posted in Guardian comments section following Leicester vs Liverpool match and I agree 100%. Some Liverpool fan (with Klopp...something nickname) has a decent tactical brain.Guardian wrote:I truly don't understand why clubs don't treat Leicester like they do the big clubs now, make them play the ball and play in a low block.
Instead they keep giving them just what they want, moving men forward, leaving themselves exposed at the back as they possess the ball but go nowhere.
It really defies logic. I guess the name brand teams would rather lose than give them a taste of their own medicine. If they're happy with 0-0 at home as the top team then you have to be happy with that also.
If teams treated Leicester like Leicester has done all year, defend deep, let them have the ball...they'd find it as difficult as their opponents. But for some reason teams don't do that. They play right in Rainieri's hands. It's really bizarre.
Bournemouth drew 0-0 there because they didn't force the issue. Even got a man wrongly sent off, didn't matter because they didn't plan on overcommitting anyway.
I guess the "big clubs" can't lower themselves to play like Bournemouth.
I guess Pellegrini is another manager who felt that he (and his team) is too good for trying to combat Leicester the way it should be done.

Re: Premier League 6-7 February.
the one bit of consolation in this season is just how shit Chelsea have been. Not really sure why now either - they have quality players and a good manager. They must just not give a shit about the league unless they can win it.

Re: Premier League 6-7 February.
Yep would also echo what has been said above, this is a truly shite league. It says it all we are still in with a chance of winning it - not gonna happen though. Our best hope of winning the league is for Spurs to top it going into the last few games of the season coz that's the only team we seem capable of getting the better of in a race.
Our midfield has been diabolical since we lost Coq-Santi to injury (yawn). In fact we don't have a midfield at the moment: Ozil (the magician) is more of a forward than a CM, Ramsey has transformed into a final 3rd player, so is always ahead of the ball, Flamini is either in the opposition box playing like a striker or in ours playing as a 3rd CB, that all leaves a huge space in our midfield. Hopefully Coq is fit enough to start this weekend, still think we'll miss Santi's ball retention and penetrating forward passes from deep. If only Wilshere hadn't transformed into Diaby

He's been sacked. It's surprising how little outrage there has been over this stuff, people really don't care about Sunderland, we got more grief for having people like Bowyer, Woodgate, and Barton.

There hasn't been much outrage yet because it would be in contempt of court to comment on it until the court case is finished.

You can't comment before the trial either, unless you want to end up in jail.

Yeah it's like the Evans case, people only really stated talking about it once he was found guilty.
