Yup...I hope the Mancs sort it as I'd much rather they won the league than Chelski!

That Aston Villa game if HUGE for you now. I'm sure O'Neill will have his troops all psyched up for your Mancs. BIG BIG game for the Mancs all of a sudden. Shocked <Ale>

So puro, would you have Chelsea as title favourites now?

I know you're a big Liverpool fan, but I honestly can't see them winning the title.

I still think they'll beat Barca though. They have the personnel to play the exact same way that we did, providing they have Momo Sissoko back.

I think your putting far to much importance on one particular game, if Manchester United truely want to be champions they have to look at winning all of their remaining games not just the next one, Chelsea will not drop a load of points from now till the end of the season, so Man Yoo must also follow suit taking maximum points from as many games as they can.

Chelsea were the big favorites to win the league before the season began. I picked Liverpool, and I stand by my pick. Biggrin <Ale>

He cannot do everything, giggs, rooney delivered nothing. Maybe if giggs scores the chance ronaldo made for him, then ronaldo had a great game and made the goal? saha and ronaldo only two of the front 6 who did well for me. He should of passed maybe twice instead of shooting, but really i wouldn't of passed to rooney or giggs either today, i cannot blame him Biggrin <Ale>

Fair enough... Not going to get in to my dislikes for his team play but Ronaldo needs to change his game to make Rooney, Saha, play consistantly better up front. If Man U are going to win the EPL which I think they will Ronaldo playing as a midfielder has to look and deliver to these players in decent areas first so they can score goals. Not one or two times but all the time.

    My perspective

    It's only one game.

But I shall feel a little bit smug about the 'going on a run' arguments with Parks and l r d recently. The fact is you'd been on a good run, and that was likely to end at some point.

A real pivotal point in the season, not because of the one game loss, but of the next game. If (as is likely) Fergie gets the hairdryer out and the players respond positively, another 10-game unbeaten run is entirely possible. If that happens Utd are really in with a shot this year. But all of a sudden that lead looks a lot smaller.

After a good weekend for West Ham there is some bad news today with Curbishley suggesting Dean Ashton may not return from his injury until February at least. Although he was looking to return in January, Ashton is taking longer than expected to recover from his broken ankle.
