Your top ten players in the EPL

Not a squad, they can all play in the same position if you like, but who would you say are the top ten players not based on form either but just genuine overall quality....

Mine:

Ronaldo, Essien, Drogba, Cech, Gallas, Ferdinand, Gerrard, Scholes, Henry, Cesc.

Ronaldo, Carvalho, Boa Morte, Rocha, Vaz Te.
Cahill, Neill, Sheringham, Reid, Warner.

Alot of candidates.

From Arsenal there's Toure, Gallas, Cesc, RVP, Henry.

From Chelsea Cech, Terry, Essien, Drogba.

From Liverpool Gerrard and Alonso.

From us Ferdinand, Scholes, Ronaldo. Rooney when he gets his game sorted.

Berbatov from Spurs is the only player outside the top 4 I'd consider.

I'd say

Henry
Ronaldo
Drogba
Gerrard
Essien
Scholes
Cech
Ferdinand
Gallas
Then one spot between Terry/Rooney/Alonso/RVP/Cesc.

I completely forgot to put Scholes - its been edited and Alonso has been dropped - he'd be 11th though

Thats not exactly hard though....

He wouldn't be anywhere near my top ten list

Very nearly a workable team... but comments above are right, no really outstanding fullbacks in the Prem at the moment imo.

He's a likeable bloke. I'd say he's top 20 this year, but nothing more, but he still has alot to give and by the end of next season could be top 10.

Seen as it's on genuine over all quality...

Ronaldo, Xabi Alonso, Henry, Essien, Shevchenko, Ballack, Gallas, Gerrard, Scholes, Drogba

Though you could easily throw Cesc, Makelele or a few others in there. Ahh well.

In no order:

Ronaldo, van Persie, Scholes, Drogba, Gilberto , Fabregas, Jaaskelainen, Arteta, Lampard, Cahill

No-one who's only been 'top class' (however you want to define it) for a year or so could be considered imo. CRonaldo's only really got there in 2006 but he's been promising great things for a while, and given his age, he has to go in. But Kuyt can't go in there (yet) on the same basis.

Berbie is a good call though, especially as hes still to hit the heights of his form for leverkusen

Berbatov is certainly for me the best player outside the big 4 & could probably fight for a place in our's and Liverpool's team.

Fabregas, Scholes, Essien, Gerrard, Henry, Drogba Ronaldo, Ferdinand, Gallas.......then i struggle

there's no 'probably' about it for me.

He's better than Saha for me and also better than whoever plays with Kuyt

I'm not entirely sure. Saha's the perfect foil for Rooney.

Rooney and Berbatov pick up the same space.

Would love to have all 3 to pick 2 from though.
