He is definitely suffering from the lack of Riquelme.. Xavi/Deco/Iniesta/Dinho/Messi should be able to give him much better passes than he receives currently, but I am still not convinced by his finishing and he seems very dependent on his confidence

Yeah, he's a real unknown quantity. Not reliable at all. But if we can't get any other of our options (and Saviola leaves), then I wouldn't be averse to trying him for 7-8 million euros.

Athletic and Celta will be happy to see Levante lose. They're my picks for the 3rd team to go down.

Sevilla's next 4 games are all easy. We play Recreativo, so we need to stay in touch for as long as possible till our easy games begin, and hope their UEFA cup games on Thursday distract them. Same for Valencia and the CL.

Good thing we have a week's rest now. And that Pongolle will probably be injured for Recreativo next week as well.

If results stay as they are perhaps a tiny bit of hope for Natic and Sociedad at the bottom. They will be within 9 and 10 points of Levante. Another poor result for Athletic by the looks of things. Celta now look safe.

Big assumption to make, Valencia had a midweek game and Osasuna aren't mugs

I know, just saying though. I could have made the same assumption that Sevilla would get the points at Nastic.

If Valencia do win its going to be so, so close again at the top.

Yeah, we're miles off tho' so hence i hope Osasuna beat Valencia.
