Sporting are now 2-0 up - Porto 1-1 (Aves' goal was marginally offside IMO)

Closest race I've ever seen in Portugal. Makes for some nerve raking moments...

4-1 Porto FT - Champions

So, they take it by one point. They'll have to work around their squad for next season if they want to retain their title based on what I've seen from Sporting this season.

Veloso made it into the midfield too late for our season. Everytime he's been there we've been a much stronger side, beating Inter in the first game of the season for example. The time he was out of the first team cost us this title, but the team is definitely growing.

Sporting didn't win the title but they'll be in next season's CL and based on the final half of the season, I'm looking forward to it.

Next week we face-off against the same Beleneses for the Cup. Belenenses put in a poor display today; let's hope they do the same next week.

It couldn´t been closer but unlike against Paços i was optimist about the result today.
