    1) Nigel de Jong didn't even make the Dutch U21 team

    2) Kuranyi isn't German (born in Rio, Nigel = A'dam through and through)

Talking about talent : the Germans don't even have enough to qualify for such a tournament.

The Dutch won it two times in a row !

Comparing the Dutch starting 11's : there's just one surviver (De Ridder) from the championship winning side from a year ago Yikes

*that's* how many talent we have Ale

I understand that Germans are fleeying to handball : they don't stand a chance against this onslaught of Oranje talent Laugh

The future is bright.....the future is ORANGE !

some countries are good at U-Tournaments (Spain, Argentina, Italy...) and still don't win anything of importance (Italy 2006 being the exception)

others NEVER win or won anything at U-level (England; Holland until one year ago) and don't win any senior Cups either

    and then you have Germany

    lol!

Who don't have any talent, that's established in the U21s....so they torture the world with talentless anti-football.

....and still you don't get why you're hated by the world and *no one* (outside) Germany dreams of becoming a German footballer ok

Talentless anti-footballers, the lot of you !

God, I'm proud to be Dutch....I'd kill myself if I were German.

<<<<<<<<<<< haha, Germany play the most entertaining competitive football in the world now; no Dutchie would ever admit this , of course; it would be like an Englander admitting that Germans and Americans were funnier than the most hilarious cross-dressers they can provide >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    KINDER!!!

This is just what I hate about this board.

Otto, give it a sodding rest. Congratulations Holland, big up yourselves and much restecp. I for one was in no was displeased about your success, though managed to miss it on Sunday – is there a decent highlights package on YouTube etc? (I nearly got aggressed in a bar on Weds for just commenting on a superb penalty by one of the Dutch!! And I was doing my best to not even smile after the equalizer etc... in my experience the Dutch are not like that, so ein bißchen Frieden, please...)

Plus it provokes the worst/mindlessly anti-German tendencies of some decent posters. Come on, you chaps were dissing your own team half the time over the last few weeks and the winning thread seems to have been sadly marred by a bit of a racism/immigration debate (v interesting though that all is, you brothers of duitser Blut ;-) ).

Only a clueless buffoon of a provocateur would talk of "anti-football" in relation to the last year of the German national team, so don't be worse than the English, guys. I'll leave the rest of the defence to the likes of Blut.

    Duitsland, Nederland Hug

Plus please don't use that awful "everyone hates you" line – it's always the most rubbish, cowardly, bullying line of argument, apart from being completely untrue. Speak for yourselves, big brother... Wink

    shipshap

now look at those winners and add a few years until they have reached their PEAK

did they win anything at SENIOR LEVEL Question

if I was Dutch, I would be worried about winning the U-21 this year

history tells us, it'll be a lost generation, more likely to get some silver at Tiffany's than on a football pitch
