Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp could pursue his interest in Brazilian trialist Geovani after he impressed in the 2-0 friendly win at Yeovil.
Geovani made the first goal for Lomana LuaLua and then tapped in the second in a strong 70-minute showing at Huish Park, where Redknapp was able to give most of his squad a run-out.
The striker is looking to earn a contract at Fratton Park where he would compete for a place with LuaLua, Kanu and Benjani as well as new signings John Utaka and David Nugent.
"He's just a lad who's a free agent," Redknapp told Sky Sports News.
"He's a Brazilian boy and he's got a Spanish passport - we're just having a look at him really.
"We thought we'd have him in and he's been training for a few days and he's done OK.
"He's a good little footballer, a clever footballer, he knows what he's doing and he's played at the top level."
As for the match, Redknapp was happy to give every member of his match-day squad a taste of the action.
"I was pleased," he said. "We passed it well and I used all 22 players that I've got. Everyone got a run-out and it was good.
"I think every Premier League club can do that if they wanted to, make 10 changes with the squads everyone's got. We've probably got 17 or 18 players who I consider ready to play in the Premier League."
