    @ Englanders

    let's face it

football in England is a BIG WASTE OF MONEY AND SPACE

think about it for a second

if you sold all your stadia, your football pitches and your training fields, you could earn a truck-load of money

beautiful casinos , parking-houses and supermarkets could spring up out of nowhere and enrich your culture immeasurably

a £3 downlay and you could all become millionaires

    or buy a Happy Meal

instead, you are now worshipping German rejects; which obviously , will HURT

    @ Englanders

    stop pretending

    get rid football

and embrace a richer , fuller life

    Ale

then you can still get a subscription to the Bundesliga via Satellite

    @ otto

You keep referring to the Gullit interview, but like I told you Gullit is merely speculating. He is saying that in his opinion Ballack didn't perform on the pitch last season, took up Lampard's position and in Gullit's opinion, didn't deserve the £130,000 a week he was being paid.

I hope that is easier for you to understand.

I really shouldn't fuel the windup but

You've got to go back more than 10 years to find Klinsmann.

Hamann is the only one of the others who might conceivably have got into a 'team of the season' at any time in the Premiership.

    Compare this to

France: Cantona, Vieira, Petit, Henry, Makalele, Pires, Desailly
Holland: Overmars, Van Nistelrooy, Robben, Stam, Van Persie

    @roger

your list of players confirms my argument

Cantona: hardly a French League Superstar and a National Team Extra becomes MEGA in the EPL

Henry: career fizzles out in Seria A; becomes MEGA in the EPL

    Vieira: see above

    Berkamp: see above

Overmars: see above; again, went on to fade away in Spain, just like Henry now will

    .....

ie: mediocre careers rescued by the well-paying EPL where stardom beckons

they might as well go to Quatar or the MLS

meanwhile, the Germans do it the other way round

Hamann, Lehmann, Babbel and Co were considered to be good players in the Bundesliga, but NOT nearly as important to their clubs as they would become in the EPL

now, add to them Voronin, Santa Cruz and friends and you can see a pattern, right

here's what Hitzelsperger said , by the way:

"It was certainly not easy making the move from England to the Bundesliga"

    and Pizarro:

" the EPL is faster than the Bundesliga , but not harder"

what does that tell you , roger

So Hitzlesperger is basically saying that he found it hard to leave the world's best league to play in a sunday league. Understandable. He wasn't even a first team regular at Villa, yet now he's one of the stars of the bundesliga Laugh

Pizarro has played two games; BOTH against prime relegation candidates Laugh Most people had Derby, Reading and Brum to go down at the end of the season Doh

    lol! lol!

5 minutes gone and Santa Cruz has scored against Arsenal

    lol! lol!

he has already scored more goals in two EPL games than in an entire Bundesliga season

    cheers

the Bundesliga REJECTS are proving a handful, heh

    scratch sunny

I just hope Santa does not call all those Bayern bench sitters , telling them to come over to the EPL

    NOW

" you CANNOT believe how easy it is to SCORE here. Come to England and join the party

    there's enough room for everybody

it's like fishing in an Alaskan stream during the mating season

throw in your bait and they'll fight to bite and swallow it."
