Re: The Sack Race
I really like the guy but i think Sammy Lee is going ot be th efirst. Bolton have started poorly and have some hard fixtures coming up. Also i think (from living in the north west) its clear that most of their fans have already lost faith in him (which after 3 games is a little unfair) making it an uphill battle for him.

Re: The Sack Race
I voted for Southgate, he's just plain old $h!t, he loses a couple of big players and it all falls to pieces.
Hutchings is doing alright so far so there's no reason to vote for him.
Gartside will be too loyal/stubborn to sack Sammy Lee, afterall he put Boltons success down to him and not Fat Sam.
Bruce's target will be to stay up, and i think he'll do that, or get relegated in the last few games.
Jol will turn things around somewhat, maybe he'll get sacked when they fail to crack the top 4... again. They've thrown too much money at him to sack him before the end of the season.

Re: The Sack Race
I have no words, this pisses me off so much. Why can't people (most of all thinking of those high up who sack the coaches) realize it's not (entirely) the coaches fault if the team isn't doing well! What about sacking some players, or someone in the higher ranks. Or better, what about making changes within the team, ffs it's not like sacking some trainer change everything. I can't believe the teams don't realize this.

It's easier to sack the coaches than players.

Sammy Lee is the favourite for me. He hasn't done anything yet to show me that he's capable of manging a premiership side

Re: The Sack Race
How many games has Lee been in charge now? I think it is five and he has lost four of them, without winning any. It doesn't reflect well on his managerial skills.

Re: The Sack Race
Its gotta be Sammy Lee, not only is he totally overshadowed by the loss of Allardyce but the team just doesn't look like winning anything, nor is it (imo) talented to avoid a relegation struggle.
As with most situations like these - the buck stops with the manager and i think that we're only a few more weeks from seeing him be sacked

Re: The Sack Race
Bolton won't get relegated (they still have too much quality to do so) but at this form look like ending probably 12th-14th. Still bad enough for Lee to get the sack.

Diouf, Jussi, Faye(if he doesn't leave)... err... Speed.
There's not that much now that Ben Haim has gone and Gardner has disappeared(i don't know where he is, injured?). Fat Sam made players like Davies, Nolan, and Campo - they're nothing without him.

I personally hope he joins you rather than United (whuch has been suggested in some papers today) if he does leave.
IMO United will really struggle this season up front, Anelka would be perfect, I think Saha may struggle to re-capture his form from a couple of years ago, Rooney as we know has got a big injury, Ole..ok he's an OK player, his days are surely numbered though and then Tevez, a fantastic player but is he too similar to Rooney? and playing up top by himself he could struggle.

Well if United are in for him, then that's the ed of that one. However I can't see them splashing another £12m on a striker.

Re: The Sack Race
According to the notw which im reading now, Lyon also want him. I agree with Deano we are unlikely to be signing anyone else.
