Me living up to WUM reputation and a Real Madrid fan living up to his reputation - ie the name of his club is enough to ensure victory.

Think you are insane on the spartak moscow one. They were so lucky to get through against a crap team, and they lost the last 3 league matches i think. sporting are better than them, bayern aswell

I don't know enough about the current sporting squad - they might be a better bet (I'll certainly have a few quid on Liedson)

Bayern have no chance - another club that thinks it will probably go through on its name.

Bayern can certainly top their group , why people here think that they will not progress.

Too soon folks, I think you might be surprised.

I don't know much about Bayern or Spartak, not enough to make too many claims at least.

I didn't know Spartak are struggling at home...I knew they had to qualify though.

Bayern seem to be having trouble keeping Owen, brought in Podolski and have old Makaay. With other German internationals, Sporting will be cautious of them.

Hopefully no one takes us seriously, and we can catch them all off-guard. Inter just played us though, I doubt they'll be caught sleeping.

Bremen and their gungho attacking style could throw some a cat amongst the pegions If they are smart about it they can beat Chelsea.

Inter Milan and Bayern

Can't see any reason why the established order would not prevail.

Liverpool and Eindhoven

I think Eindhoven have slightly more class than the other 2 and this should see them through.

Valencia and Roma

Don't fancy these two to do much outside the group stages but clearly too much class for the other 2.

Real Madrid and Lyon

Again too much class amongst these two to even consider the others, the balance of power between Madrid and Lyon might have shifted with Diarra but should be interesting.

Manchester united and Benfica

Not very clear cut, some banana skins with Celtic.

Arsenal and Hamburg

Porto and Hamburg should be and interesting dual Nice young group of talented players I think Hamburg just prevail.


Ac Milan and Lille

Too much class amongst these two to even be troubled by the others.

I bet you couldn't see any reason why Utd shouldn't have made it out of the group stage last season either...

I hope we're underestimated by our opponents in the same fashion this year; could make for a good run.
